Nancy Peterson

In 2015, Provost Dutta created a Faculty Awards and Recognition Committee with two primary goals:

1. to recognize and honor faculty at Purdue who have won significant distinction and/or hold positions or have memberships in prestigious academic bodies;  
2. to encourage and support faculty as they apply for top awards and honors or seek membership in such organizations.

The Chair and members of the FAR committee are ready and willing to assist Purdue faculty with all steps of the nomination and application process for external awards and honors—including providing help for drafting statements of intent, securing letters of recommendation, providing feedback on nomination packets, etc.
