Shared Governance Restructure

The Shared Governance Task Force was formed during Spring 2021 by a group of interested faculty, staff, and students who wanted to create a more responsive governance structure that enhances the collective voices of all constituents across campus. After a series of listening sessions held between May and September 2021, we solicited volunteers to serve on five different working groups. Each working group is focused on a different component of governance, and is tasked with identifying the pros and cons associated with potential models for their component. Deliverables from these working groups are due in February 2022 and will be used to draft a proposal to be presented to the Board of Trustees for their consideration during their April 2022 board meeting.
