Leading Faculty Bridge Program Paused for 2021-2022 Units identify a preeminent faculty and request Provost approval to recruit. Five years Unit contributes salary and fringe benefits for Assistant Professor line. Program provides salary subsidy up to $125,000  for five year bridge period. $40,000 will be provided annually for five years for Distinguished Professor allocation.  Supports strategic goal of recruiting outstanding faculty scholars to Purdue to transform an area of scholarly work to preeminence. Paused for 2020-2021
Research Refresh Program Paused for 2021-2022 Associate professors who have been in rank for at least six years and full professors who have been at rank for at least four years Up to one year, including summer Up to one month of summer salary; up to $10,000 in discretionary funding to support project needs; up to $30,000 over two semesters for actual costs of replacement teaching (paid to department) Provide protected time for tenured Associate and Full Professors who would benefit from intense focus to advance their scholarship and reinvigorate their careers. Strategic Opportunity Hiring Program Candidates for faculty positions that contribute to Purdue's diversity.
