Black Cultural Center Celebrating 50 Years

“Unlocking 50 Years of Excellence” is the theme of the yearlong celebration at the Black Cultural Center, as we honor its founding in 1969, and celebrate five decades of cultural enrichment and growth.

Earlier this year, the center unveiled a 50-year timeline retrospective titled “A Journey Through Black Excellence.” The project was a collaboration among students, staff and alumni who worked for more than five months to create the extraordinary work.

To mark its 50th year, the BCC has a special lineup of activities, lectures, musical and artistic performances. More information is available here.
