Deans offer perspectives on leadership

A late-spring panel session on leadership was a precursor to the ACE-Women’s Network of Indiana’s Second Annual Leadership Conference, co-sponsored by the Purdue Butler Center. Structured as a conversation, questions focused on leadership trajectories and the challenges and opportunities of being in a leadership position, both generally and in the current context, and on diversifying university leadership.

The panel included, Brooke Kandel-Cisco, Dean, College of Education, Butler University; Nancy Marchand-Martella, Suzi and Dale Gallagher Dean of Education, Purdue University; Linda Mason, Dean, Graduate School, Purdue University; Maureen A. McCarthy, Dean, College of Sciences and Humanities and Professor of Psychological Science, Ball State University; Beth McNeil, Dean, Libraries and School of Information Studies, Purdue University; Karen Plaut, Dean, College of Agriculture, Purdue University; Paige Turner, Dean, College of Communication, Information, and Media, Ball State University; Marion Underwood, Dean, College of Health and Human Sciences, Purdue University.
