Equity Task Force update and Black History Month celebration

Earlier this month, the Board of Trustees received the recommendations and findings of the Equity Task Force.  Trustees in August authorized the creation of the task force, ultimately made up of more than 150 members of the Purdue community — faculty, staff, students and alumni — who formed into working groups of 10-12 each.

The Board will now examine the findings and consider implementation plans.

Boilermakers celebrate Black History Month

The campus community is celebrating Black History Month by holding events and telling the stories of black alumni, faculty, staff and students.  The Black History month web-site is outstanding, with profiles of many inspirational Black Boilermakers.
