Faculty and staff wellbeing the focus of System-Wide Forum

All employees are encouraged to attend the 2021 virtual System-Wide Forum –  scheduled for the afternoons of September 23 and 24.  The theme this year is “Fostering Wellbeing Through Community and Connections.”

The Keynote sessions are:

  • Sept. 23 - Dr. Annelies Singh - How "Well" are YOU? Lessons Learned About Wellbeing and Perspective-Taking Amongst Multiple Pandemics
  • Friday, Sept. 24 - Matthew Walker - The Importance of Sleep for Health and Wellbeing

Panel sessions include:

  • Leaders’ Personal and Professional Reflections on Coping and Wellbeing
  • Perspectives on and Approaches to Family Wellbeing
  • Strategies for Community/Unit/Organizational Wellbeing

In addition to the keynote speakers and panel sessions, participants can take part in one or more of 26 different breakout sessions that cover topics such as “Using Personal Mission Statements to Alleviate Professional Burnout," "Fostering a Culture of Connections and Wellness,” and “Faculty Liaisons and Navigating the Campus Culture,” to name just a few.
