What is Purdue Day of Giving?
Purdue Day of Giving is an online-based fundraising event in April. For 24 hours, students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends come together to grant opportunities and transform lives. Participate in hourly online challenges that make your gift go even further and help your favorite unit claim the top spot on the donation and participation leaderboards!
Know when to give:
Donating during specific hours throughout the day will help PMO win challenge hours (and bonus money!) Know what hour is best to donate to double your impact! (All hourly challenges are in EST)
1-2 pm: Most donations from Alumni Donors* = $4,000 bonus
7-8 pm: Most gifts from International Donors* = $4,000 bonus
8-9 pm: Most donations from Parent Donors* = $4,000 bonus
9-10 pm: Most gifts from Alumni Donors of the last decade (2008-2018 grads)* = $4,000 bonus
*Remember to indicate you are a PMO alum, parent, or supporter when making your gift online!
Increase your impact!
The minimum gift requirement is $10. What can your $10 do? Help us win bonus cash! We ask that you participate in as many challenges as you can. The department with the most participation, per challenge, will win!
10 gifts of $10= 10 more entries to win PMO bonus cash and is more impactful than 1 gift of $100.
Help PMO win social media challenges (and bonus cash) by participating in as many challenges as you can throughout the day! Remember to include the unit hashtags #PurduePMO and #PurdueDayofGiving in all your posts, and be sure to tag the Purdue Musical Organizations page.
