Purdue Musical Organizations

Purdue Choral Festival – April 14, 2022

Thanks to the generous support from the family of Dr. Max Showalter, Purdue Musical Organizations is hosting the sixth annual Purdue Choral Festival!

The all-day event for high schools from around the Midwest will begin with check-in at 8 am. The event will conclude with a one-hour performance beginning at 6:30 pm in Purdue’s Elliott Hall of Music. This year, the evening performance will be viewable by live stream only and will include performances by the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, several of the participating high school choirs, and the combined choirs. Our 2019 chorus totaled nearly 500 voices, however, in order to adhere to all recommended safety precautions related to COVID-19, we anticipate needing to limit the number of singers to 300. Participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Early registration is recommended.

This year’s evening performance is closed to the general public and will be viewable by live stream only.
