Purdue Musical Organizations

Kids Choir

The PMO Kids Choir is an auditioned group of local children, ages 9-13, who perform onstage during the Purdue Christmas Show. Directed by Jacob Stensberg, members audition in September and rehearse throughout the fall. Their clear voices and youthful enthusiasm add a bright spot to the annual Christmas Show.

Kids Choir auditions will take place on Monday, September 30, at 4:30 pm in the Smith Room of Ralph and Bettye Bailey Hall, located at 359 Northwestern Avenue, West Lafayette.

We will have some paperwork for parents to fill out; there will be a brief information session, and then children will come into the audition room and sing in groups. The audition will end no later than 6:30 pm.

The audition music can be found below and should be prepared in full:

Kids Choir Music 2019

Memorization is NOT required; we simply want to hear your child sing confidently and pleasantly. There is no dancing portion of the audition.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, October 7, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Smith Room of Bailey Hall. More information can be found in the Kids Choir Parent Letter 2019.

If you have questions, please contact Jacob Stensberg, Kids Choir Director.
