Purdue Musical Organizations

Kids Choir

The PMO Kids Choir is an auditioned group of local children, ages 9-13, who perform onstage during the Purdue Christmas Show. Directed by Jacob Stensberg, members audition in September and rehearse throughout the fall. Their clear voices and youthful enthusiasm add a bright spot to the annual Christmas Show.

Kids Choir auditions take place each year in the Smith Room of Ralph and Bettye Bailey Hall, located at 359 Northwestern Avenue, West Lafayette.

We will have some paperwork for parents to fill out; there will be a brief information session, and then children will come into the audition room and sing in groups. The audition will end no later than 6:30 pm.

The audition music can be found below and should be prepared in full:

Kids Choir Music 2019

Memorization is NOT required; we simply want to hear your child sing confidently and pleasantly. There is no dancing portion of the audition.

Rehearsals are held in the Smith Room of Bailey Hall. More information can be found in the Kids Choir Parent Letter 2019.

If you have questions, please contact Jacob Stensberg, Kids Choir Director.
