Center Stage: Purduettes Camp - Day 2
Tuesday, August 17, 2010
Tara Knoop, a senior and choreographer of the Purduettes, begins the day by teaching some new moves.
The Purduettes pay close attention to every detail, especially in the choreography.
Tuesday was the first day that the New Women discovered their own “personal jams,” a Purduette’s essential stage movements.
The Purduettes kick to new heights in the song “It’s Today/Tonight.”
Katie Peine helps Alex Robinson primp before taking her new headshot.
During free time the girls like to relax and unwind with each other. New women Lauren King and Gold of Social and Merchandise, senior Alyssa Beatty enjoy time lounging on the couch.
Here Raylene Schramer, Liz Barrett, Katie Gasiorowski, and Paige Devine pose for the camera.
Abbey Moman, Emily Grimm, and Katie Thomason enjoy each other’s company before the next rehearsal.
Some ladies chose to show off their dives at the pool during free time.
Once again the ladies of the Purduettes join the Glee Club for dinner. Junior Cayla Mustin takes this opportunity to meet some of the New Men.
Sarah Kretzman, Manager of the Purduettes, and Courtney Petro, Gold of recruitment have a “Crush” on PMO Alum Bruce Barker.
Freshman Alyssa McClelland is happy to share a smile while she wipes down a table after dinner.
Some sisters in song pose for a quick photo before leaving the Glee Club’s camp.
In the evening we once again joined Glee Club, this time for s’mores. Here Ted Arthur, assistant Director of the Glee Club and Steve Schlenk, PMO Director of Operations, roast marshmallows by the fire.
It may be late, but these girls still have plenty of attitude to go around. The campfire was an awesome way to end our second night at Purduette Camp.
