Report Bias and Hate as it Happens

Purdue is taking efforts to reduce the harmful effects of bias and discrimination against any member of the campus community. Should you encounter a discriminatory experience, make sure to make youf voice heard. PIP has listed several options for you to report your experiences on campus or in the wider community.

Purdue’s Reporting Hate and Bias Line

You may report hate speech, discrimination, and intimidation to Purdue directly by using Purdue’s Reporting Hate and Bias line.

It is important to note that Purdue’s Freedom of Expression policy allows for a broad range of speech options on campus, even if that speech may be offensive to individuals or conflict with the policies and values of Purdue University. You may also wish to communicate your story to others directly. Several options for communicating your experiences to a wider audience are below.

The #BoilerIdentities Blog is an open forum for discussion of identity, race, discrimination, and stigma related thoughts and experiences. Posts are anonymous. You may post your story here.

The IndyStar has been around for over 100 years reporting on a broad range of topics.  This newspaper is specifically for the Indianapolis community, but reports on broader issues as well.  You may send a letter to the editor and share your story at this link.
