Computer action required today for Java upgrade tomorrow

Java will be upgraded for staff tomorrow (Sept. 8) during the regularly-scheduled maintenance window beginning at 2 a.m. In order to facilitate the upgrade, employees should restart their computer before leaving their assigned shift today. Additionally, work laptops and tablets should be docked overnight tonight in order to receive the upgrade.

This upgrade is necessary in order for websites that require Java to function correctly, including but not limited to SAP, P6 Web, Primavera Contract Management and Kronos.

Questions or concerns following the upgrade should be directed to the ITaP Customer Service Center at (765) 494-4000 or itap@purdue.edu.
