Communication and Connections

The purpose of the Committee is to facilitate communication of relevant information among advisors on the Purdue University campus and to local communities and media as appropriate.  Our mission is to heighten awareness about the importance of academic advising as a profession, centralize relevant information, and facilitate opportunities for interaction between PACADA members and other student-centered professionals on campus.

The Communication and Connections Committee manages the the website and the mentoring program.  Committee members also work together to write news articles and share posts related to advisors’ professional and personal lives.  The articles and posts can be found under the ‘News’ link on the PACADA website.

The PACADA membership is invited to join the Communication and Connections Committee at their monthly meetings at any time.  The topics of the meetings involve updates on the status articles, website updates, and ideas for future features. Please email either Co-Chair below for further information.
