Dear Boilermaker,
At this point in the semester, it's normal to feel a bit overwhelmed with academics and other priorities. Writing down your plans and strategies can help you stay accountable to your goals and time commitments. Below are a few resources to help you manage your time and maximize your schedule leading up to final exams.
Resources available:
Create your finals game plan. The Helen Bass Williams Academic Success Center provides handouts to help you stay organized, study for exams, track time, make to-do lists and more. Download documents that can help you plan your finals weeks logistics on the Academic Success Center website.
Time Management App. Shovel is a college planner app that Purdue offers free to all students. Shovel allows students to enter their classes, assignments, extra curriculars, work, and more to help create structure to your days and avoid feeling overwhelmed. Use this link and sign up using your purdue.edu email.
Remember to utilize your resources, stay on top of assignments, and reach out if you need help.
Mark your calendar:
- April 24-29: Quiet Period (courses with assessments during the final exam period shall refrain from assigning or collecting assessments during the Quiet Period)
- May 1-6: Final exams
