{"id":4979,"date":"2026-07-15T14:13:01","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T14:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/?p=4979"},"modified":"2026-07-15T14:14:32","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T14:14:32","slug":"reminder-exterior-modifications-must-be-reviewed-and-approved-by-campus-planning-and-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/blog\/2026\/07\/15\/reminder-exterior-modifications-must-be-reviewed-and-approved-by-campus-planning-and-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: Exterior modifications must be reviewed and approved by Campus Planning and Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"modal-ready\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a reminder, all exterior modifications and\/or additions must be approved by Campus Planning and Projects, the newly reorganized department that now includes Campus Planning and Architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exterior modifications and additions include, but at not limited to, temporary or semi-permanent structures such as sheds and storage containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members of the campus community should contact the fire department to determine that the placement of a shed or container isn\u2019t too close to a building and follows fire wall code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, if storing hazardous waste and materials in containers, be sure to follow proper storing procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To contact Campus Planning and Projects for services, complete a Work Request Form through <a href=\"https:\/\/powerforms.docusign.net\/aa32a057-3072-4943-9354-adfdcc1c1bef?env=na2&amp;acct=9ad6adfd-6804-409b-91bc-173cbee909f9&amp;accountId=9ad6adfd-6804-409b-91bc-173cbee909f9\">DocuSign<\/a>.
