{"id":4831,"date":"2026-06-09T17:51:50","date_gmt":"2026-06-09T17:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/?p=4831"},"modified":"2026-07-02T13:40:52","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T13:40:52","slug":"2026-27-west-lafayette-indianapolis-faculty-and-staff-parking-permits-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/blog\/2026\/06\/09\/2026-27-west-lafayette-indianapolis-faculty-and-staff-parking-permits-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"2026-27 West Lafayette, Indianapolis faculty and staff parking permits now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"modal-ready\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Annual faculty and staff parking permits for West Lafayette and Indianapolis are now available for purchase or renewal for the 2026-27 academic year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">West Lafayette permits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As recently announced, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/purduetoday\/2026\/Q2\/cost-of-annual-purdue-parking-permit-remains-unchanged-for-2026-27-sales-begin-in-june\/\">no changes to Purdue annual permit costs for 2026-27 academic year<\/a>. Permits that are now available include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cA\u201d permits with optional Garage Access Cards; also available to Purdue Research Foundation employees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cB\u201d permits; also available to Purdue Research Foundation employees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cID\u201d permits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retiree permits with Garage Access Cards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presidential Reserved permits with Garage Access Cards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New West Lafayette permits will be valid as early as Aug. 1, 2026 through Aug. 15, 2027 and can be purchased or requested throughout the year. Current 2025-26 parking permits are valid through Aug. 15, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Permits must be renewed or purchased through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/purdue.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online parking portal<\/a>. Anyone with an existing Garage Access Card should look for the \u201cRenew Existing Permit\u201d option within the online parking portal and retain their current Garage Access Card for continued use next year. Those without a Garage Access Card should purchase a new permit within the parking portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information about annual, monthly and daily permits and parking options at the West Lafayette location is included on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/faculty-staff\/\">Parking Operations website<\/a>. Information about&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/retirees\/\">Retiree permits<\/a>&nbsp;is also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">West Lafayette \u201cA\u201d permits are valid at the Indianapolis location for those who will be working at both during 2026-27. Additional steps are required for parking in Indianapolis after purchasing or renewing a West Lafayette permit. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/indianapolis\/#reciprocity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">View more information about parking permit reciprocity online<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indianapolis permits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purdue faculty and staff who are assigned to the Indianapolis location may now purchase or renew an annual permit through IU Indianapolis Parking and Transportation Services. New IU Indianapolis permits will be valid July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parking contacts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purdue Parking Operations staff are available between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 765-494-9497 or&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:parking@purdue.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">parking@purdue.edu<\/a>, and the lobby in Stewart Center G054 in West Lafayette is open until 4 p.m. during the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purdue Parking Operations can help with general questions about Indianapolis permits.
