It\u2019s a location-based app that will help you stay informed and provide the ability to request assistance quickly and discreetly. It includes personal safety tools, emergency communication and wellbeing resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Download SafeZone now from the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/au\/app\/safezone\/id533054756\"><strong>App Store<\/strong><\/a> <strong>or <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.criticalarc.safezoneapp\"><strong>Google Play<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a reminder for students, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/ehps\/police\/community-services\/services\/safe-ride.php\">safe ride pilot program provided through Lyft<\/a> is also available. Students are able to book rides with Lyft to and from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/ehps\/police\/docs\/safe-ride-map.pdf\">several campus destinations<\/a> on and around the Indianapolis location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other safety resources available in Indianapolis include emergency text notifications through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/ehps\/emergency-preparedness\/purduealert\/index.php\">PurdueALERT<\/a> and the Safe Walk program at <strong>317-274-SAFE&nbsp;(7233)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a reminder, the SafeZone app is now available for Purdue students, faculty and staff in Indianapolis.
