Employees may then be able to extend A-List status for an additional 12 months if they meet one of the two following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Book and complete three round-trip qualifying flights or six one-way qualifying flights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Earn 8,000 tier qualifying points from qualifying flights booked and flown between the enrollment date for this promotion and the end of the 90-day promotional period<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the benefits included with A-List status include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to choose a Preferred seat at the time of booking; ability to choose an Extra Legroom seat within 48 hours of departure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priority boarding, no later than group 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One free checked bag, second checked bag $35<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priority Lane and Express Lane access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Same-day standby<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>25% Rapid Rewards points earning bonus\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Business and personal flights may be used to earn A-List status during the 90-day promotional period and for the extended 12-month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questions may be directed to Purdue Travel at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:purduetravel@purdue.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">purduetravel@purdue.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Southwest Airlines is offering Purdue employees the opportunity to earn A-List status through March 31.
