{"id":2818,"date":"2025-08-14T14:46:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-14T14:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/?p=2818"},"modified":"2025-08-14T17:24:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T17:24:17","slug":"restrictions-along-sheetz-street-to-remain-in-place-as-new-academic-years-begins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/blog\/2025\/08\/14\/restrictions-along-sheetz-street-to-remain-in-place-as-new-academic-years-begins\/","title":{"rendered":"Restrictions along Sheetz Street to remain in place as new academic year begins"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"modal-ready\">\n<p>Restrictions remain in place along Sheetz Street as the new academic year gets ready to begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northbound lane and sidewalk restrictions along Sheetz Street from Wood Street to Mitch Daniels Boulevard remain in place as construction on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2025\/Q2\/university-breaks-ground-on-new-daniels-school-of-business-building\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new facility for the Daniels School of Business<\/a> continues. The project is expected to be completed in April 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheetz Street between Wood and Harrison streets is closed to through traffic with street parking unavailable due to an ongoing utility project. This portion of Sheetz Street is scheduled to fully reopen Aug. 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, a section of Wood Street east of Sheetz Street remains closed in both directions. To help with traffic control, the entrance to the Dauch Alumni Center parking lot off Wood Street is closed. The closure is expected to last&nbsp;until January 2026.
