The work is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/restoring-purdues-university-hall-as-a-campus-crown-jewel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a project to renovate University Hall<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Window cleaning at University Hall is expected to take place Sept. 4 and 5. As a result, caution tape will be posted around the building during that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, a large section of fencing around the former site of Heavilon Hall will be removed Monday (Aug. 18). A smaller section of fencing will remain in place near Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry (WTHR) for another week as the project wraps up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pedestrians and bicyclists should continue to use caution in these areas and obey all posted signs and fencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questions about the project may be directed to Cy Rangel, project executive, at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:rangel7@purdue.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rangel7@purdue.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some exterior work will continue at University Hall and the former site of Heavilon Hall as the new academic year gets underway.
