{"id":2605,"date":"2025-07-08T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/?p=2605"},"modified":"2026-03-02T16:50:22","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T16:50:22","slug":"2025-26-undergraduate-commuter-student-parking-permit-requests-accepted-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/blog\/2025\/07\/08\/2025-26-undergraduate-commuter-student-parking-permit-requests-accepted-now\/","title":{"rendered":"2025-26 undergraduate commuter student parking permit requests accepted now"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"modal-ready\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Summary<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Two types of parking permits are available to commuter students for 2025-26.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\u201cC\u201d permit requests are being accepted now and will continue on a first come, first served basis until permits are sold out.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Value permit requests are also open and expected to be available throughout the year.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cC\u201d permits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A limited number of West Lafayette <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/parking\/permits\/west-lafayette\/students\/index.html#c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>\u201cC\u201d permits<\/strong><\/a> are available to undergraduate students who live&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/parking\/documents\/Garage-C-BoundaryMap.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>outside of this boundary<\/strong><\/a> and commute to campus. Requests are being accepted now in the <a href=\"https:\/\/purdue.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>online parking portal<\/strong><\/a>. Proof of the student\u2019s local address for the coming year must be uploaded at the time of the request. These annual permits cost $100 and are valid in any \u201cC\u201d surface lot space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once eligibility is confirmed, Parking Operations will notify individuals through email when the permit can be purchased online. Permits are available on a first come, first served basis and may sell out. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Value permits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/parking\/permits\/west-lafayette\/students\/index.html#value\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Value permits<\/strong><\/a> are a new option for 2025-26, and requests opened earlier this week with anticipated availability throughout the year. Like \u201cC\u201d permits, students must live&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/parking\/documents\/Garage-C-BoundaryMap.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>outside of this boundary<\/strong><\/a> and commute to campus. Requests are being accepted now in the <a href=\"https:\/\/purdue.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>online parking portal<\/strong><\/a>, and proof of the student\u2019s local address for the coming year must be uploaded at the time of the request. Overnight parking is allowed in these locations for permit holders. Permits are $75 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>More information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All annual permits for the coming year will be valid Aug. 1, 2025 through Aug. 15, 2026. Current 2024-25 parking permits are valid through Aug. 15, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Updates for \u201cC\u201d and Value permits will be made to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/parking\/documents\/ParkingRegs.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Traffic and Parking Regulations<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/parking\/documents\/PurdueParkingMap.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>downloadable parking map<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;in the coming months. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parking Operations staff are available until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 765-494-9497 or&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:parking@purdue.edu?subject=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>parking@purdue.edu<\/strong><\/a>, and the&nbsp;lobby in Stewart Center G054 is open until 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary \u201cC\u201d permits A limited number of West Lafayette \u201cC\u201d permits are available to undergraduate students who live&nbsp;outside of this boundary and commute to campus.
