{"id":1998,"date":"2024-08-22T16:53:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-22T16:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/?p=1998"},"modified":"2025-04-04T16:55:33","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T16:55:33","slug":"work-underway-on-new-nursing-and-pharmacy-education-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/blog\/2024\/08\/22\/work-underway-on-new-nursing-and-pharmacy-education-building\/","title":{"rendered":"Work underway on new Nursing and Pharmacy Education Building"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"modal-ready\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction on the new&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/releases\/2023\/Q2\/new-building-to-elevate-transformative-education-for-purdue-nursing-and-pharmacy-programs.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nursing and Pharmacy Education Building<\/a>&nbsp;at the intersection of Mitch Daniels Boulevard and South Russell Street is underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result of this project, there are travel restrictions along South Russell Street. The same&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cascade.it.purdue.edu\/entity\/open.act?type=page&amp;id=397ea1f8ac1e8ce130d3e7ce419e3965&amp;confId=397ea1f8ac1e8ce130d3e7cefa2d4ee2\">traffic patterns<\/a>&nbsp;that are currently in place for the Life Science Ranges Phenotyping Greenhouse Building will remain in place for this project. South Russell Street will then reopen to one-way southbound traffic. The sidewalk and street parking along the west side of South Russell Street will be closed through November 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The parking lot located at the southwest corner of Mitch Daniels Boulevard and Russell Street has permanently closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution in the area, obey all posted signs and seek alternate routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questions may be directed to Rustin Meister, project executive, at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:rrmeister@purdue.edu\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">rmeister@purdue.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Construction on the new&nbsp;Nursing and Pharmacy Education Building&nbsp;at the intersection of Mitch Daniels Boulevard and South Russell Street is underway.
