Office of Supplier Development and Engagement supports this process by helping vendors understand sourcing opportunities, procurement expectations and the resources available to help them connect, compete and grow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purdue welcomes all qualified vendors and emphasizes outreach, education and engagement for small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, Indiana-based firms and start-ups. This approach supports a broad and competitive supplier network while encouraging innovation, local impact and long-term partnership.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All suppliers who want to do business with Purdue University must:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be registered with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/inbiz.in.gov\/BOS\/BusinssEntity\/Filing\">Secretary of State<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not be suspended from doing business with Purdue, the state of Indiana and\/or the federal government.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional requirements and notices of work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contractors<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contractors must be pre-qualified through the state of Indiana for capital projects. Contractors who are not already pre-qualified should follow the process outlined by&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.in.gov\/idoa\/2486.htm\">the Indiana Department of Administration<\/a>&nbsp;for future consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/capital-asset-management\/aes-construction-firms\/#contractors\">AE Construction Firm Resources<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdueplanroom.com\/\">ePlanroom<\/a> pages for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Architect and engineering firms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Architects and engineering firms must be on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/capital-asset-management\/aes-construction-firms\/\">contact list<\/a> to receive future opportunities and keep contact information updated with Purdue.
