About PSUB<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n \n\n

\n

The Purdue Student Union Board (PSUB) is the source for campus entertainment, bringing engaging programs and events to Purdue students while offering hands\u2011on experience in event planning. Serving as the voice of students in the cooperative management of the Purdue Memorial Union (PMU), PSUB has been active since before the union was built \u2014 beginning in 1920 with five students and growing today to\u00a0nearly 100\u00a0active members.\u00a0Since 2024, PSUB has expanded its’ reach to include the Purdue University in Indianapolis location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PSUB provides a variety of programs and services that enrich and entertain the Purdue community. Involvement with PSUB extends learning beyond the classroom, offering students hands\u2011on experience in event planning, leadership development, and skill\u2011building. As a student\u2011led organization, PSUB also serves as the voice of Purdue students in the cooperative management of the PMU, helping shape the campus experience through collaboration and service. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Getting involved with PSUB is easy and flexible. Students can connect by attending a callout, stopping by the PSUB office, or reaching out by email or phone to learn more about the organization. Event details, callout information and updates are also shared through PSUB\u2019s Instagram account<\/a>, making it easy to stay informed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Involvement opportunities vary by time commitment and interest, with members working within committees led by Directors and Project Leaders and supported by general members who coordinate events. The Executive Officers oversee administrative, financial, personnel and outreach efforts. Committees in West Lafayette include After Dark, Entertainment, Mainstage, Multimedia Arts, Spirit and Traditions, and Well\u2011Being, in addition to an Indianapolis Committee. PSUB offers a variety of ways for students to get involved and make an impact across campus, both in West Lafayette and Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

PSUB alumni remain an important part of the organization\u2019s legacy, carrying forward the leadership skills, campus connections, and shared experiences formed during their time as part of PSUB. Each year, PSUB alumni are invited to reconnect with current members and fellow alumni during the annual PSUB Alumni Brunch, held as part of Homecoming weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
