Carpool Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Parking Operations offers a Carpool permit to individuals who have purchased an “A” or “B” parking permit and regularly commute to West Lafayette in groups of three or more faculty or staff, allowing these individuals to save money on parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get started, determine your carpool partners and complete the Carpool Registration Form<\/a>. Each carpool will be assigned one carpool permit to share at no additional cost, and it must be displayed in a vehicle currently linked to an active “A” or “B” permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designated Carpool permit parking is available in the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage or the parking lot north of Lawson Computer Science Building.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Low Emission Vehicle Parking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who drives a low-emission vehicle (LEV) is eligible to park in spaces with a valid “A” permit. The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) website maintains a list of vehicles that qualify beginning with 1998 models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking Operations has four LEV spaces in the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage, located at 504 Northwestern Avenue, West Lafayette, IN. These spaces are located on Level F Black, ground level and on the north side. Two LEV spaces are located in the lot at Third Street\/N. Martin Jischke Drive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
