Overnight parking at the terminal is allowed only when following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/airport\/parking\/\">airport parking process<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"annual\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Annual Parking Permits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vehicles must be registered for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/license-plate-recognition\/\">License Plate Recognition<\/a>&nbsp;and linked to the purchased parking permit. Learn more about&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/license-plate-recognition\/front-plates\/\">\u201cfront plates\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;and the additional parking flexibility they provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The information below is for faculty and staff at the West Lafayette location. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/indianapolis\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/indianapolis\/\">Parking information for those at the Indianapolis location<\/a> is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individuals who spend time at both West Lafayette and Indianapolis locations should review information about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/indianapolis\/#reciprocity\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/indianapolis\/#reciprocity\">parking permit reciprocity<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purdue faculty and staff or Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) employees may be eligible to purchase or renew one of the following annual parking permits, which are valid through Aug. 15:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none has-no-sidepadding\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion has-no-bottomborder\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-277b69be-6d75-4bd7-afbf-3fae73ed69a0\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-277b69be-6d75-4bd7-afbf-3fae73ed69a0\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Presidential Reserved (Reserve\/RE)<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-277b69be-6d75-4bd7-afbf-3fae73ed69a0\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presidential Reserved (Reserve\/RE) permits may only be purchased by those holding positions designated as eligible by the President of the university. Contact <a href=\"mailto:parking@purdue.edu\">parking@purdue.edu<\/a> if you have an eligible position and need to purchase a new Presidential Reserved permit. Parking will coordinate the renewal of permits with individuals each year. Permits cost $1,000 each and must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none has-no-sidepadding\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion has-no-bottomborder\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-de35a90f-b031-49b5-8c5a-1fb2974aeec6\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-de35a90f-b031-49b5-8c5a-1fb2974aeec6\" aria-expanded=\"false\">&#8220;A&#8221; and &#8220;B&#8221;<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-de35a90f-b031-49b5-8c5a-1fb2974aeec6\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;A&#8221; and &#8220;B&#8221; permits may be purchased by any regularly employed staff, faculty member or PRF employee. &#8220;A&#8221; permits are valid in any \u201cA\u201d, \u201cAB\u201d or \u201cABC\u201d space. &#8220;B&#8221; permits are valid in any \u201cAB\u201d or \u201cABC\u201d space. The permit holder is responsible for any violations issued to vehicles linked to their permit. Permits may be used by the registered individual only, and permit sharing is not allowed. &#8220;A&#8221; permits cost $250 each, and &#8220;B&#8221; permits cost $100 each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regularly employed staff and faculty may choose to either pay the cost of an &#8220;A&#8221; or &#8220;B&#8221; parking permit in full or opt to use pre-tax payroll deduction at the time of purchase. If payroll deduction is selected as the payment method, the cost of the parking permit will be spread over 10 months from August to May. Payroll deductions are not utilized in June or July. PRF employees may use payroll deduction through PRF. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none has-no-sidepadding\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-d39f1362-d904-453f-8bb5-c8a7a780986e\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-d39f1362-d904-453f-8bb5-c8a7a780986e\" aria-expanded=\"false\">&#8220;ID&#8221;<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-d39f1362-d904-453f-8bb5-c8a7a780986e\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;ID&#8221; permits are valid in any \u201cA\u201d, \u201cAB\u201d or \u201cABC\u201d space only during the hours of 7-8 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. \u201cID\u201d permits are not eligible for payroll deduction and are non-refundable. &#8220;ID&#8221; permits cost $20 each and must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none has-no-sidepadding\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion has-no-topborder\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-2aad60b1-32d1-4d3e-96d6-9da46a4656bf\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-2aad60b1-32d1-4d3e-96d6-9da46a4656bf\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Disability<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-2aad60b1-32d1-4d3e-96d6-9da46a4656bf\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/operations\/parking\/home\/permits\/disability\/\">Disability Parking webpage<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Refunds<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a faculty or staff member or PRF employee becomes ineligible for a parking permit or no longer needs it, requests for payment adjustments must be made prior to March 1 of the academic year. No prorated refunds will be issued beginning March 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that not all permits are eligible for full or partial refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permits and <strong>Garage Access Cards<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individuals who purchase an eligible permit (Presidential Reserved, disability reserved and some \u201cA\u201d permits) may request a gated Garage Access Card at the time that the permit is purchased for the first time. Physical Garage Access Cards will be issued through campus mail. During the purchase process, faculty and staff should confirm that the campus department and building listed are correct for delivery purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">License Plate Recognition (LPR) is the primary means to access the gated Grant Street and Harrison Street parking garages for those with an eligible permit; however, the Garage Access Card should be scanned to enter and exit if the license plate is not automatically read by LPR. If LPR doesn&#8217;t work, an individual who does not have their Garage Access Card will need to pull a ticket and pay for parking. These costs are non-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Existing permits with a Garage Access Card that are renewed for the following academic year will continue using the same Garage Access Card, which should be retained by the permit holder. To renew a permit, choose &#8220;Renew existing permit&#8221; at the bottom of the Purdue Parking Portal. If a permit lapses and is not renewed, the associated Garage Access Card will expire, and a new permit must be purchased in the portal. Garage Access Cards will be deactivated if an employee leaves the university\/PRF or employment is terminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Permit holders who do not have a current Garage Access Card will purchase a new permit in the Purdue Parking Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"alternate\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Alternate Parking Options<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faculty and staff who work remote or hybrid schedules instead of regularly working on campus have additional parking permit options. In these instances, an annual parking permit may not be the most cost-effective option, and alternatives are listed below. Monthly and daily permits must be purchased online, paid for in full and are not eligible for full or prorated refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none has-no-sidepadding\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion has-no-bottomborder\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-276d0454-2604-4bfd-a892-f5805072476a\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-276d0454-2604-4bfd-a892-f5805072476a\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Monthly Parking<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-276d0454-2604-4bfd-a892-f5805072476a\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Short term &#8220;A&#8221; or &#8220;B&#8221; parking permits may be purchased for a period of one month. Non-temporary faculty and staff may choose the beginning date for the temporary permit during the purchase process, and the permit will expire one month from that date. The permit&#8217;s effective dates will be shown in the online parking portal. &#8220;A&#8221; permits are valid in &#8220;A&#8221;, &#8220;AB&#8221; and &#8220;ABC&#8221; spaces. &#8220;B&#8221; permits are valid in &#8220;AB&#8221; and &#8220;ABC&#8221; spaces. Neither permit is eligible for the Grant Street and Harrison Street parking garages; permits are virtual and do not include gated Garage Access Cards. Temporary &#8220;A&#8221; permits are $30 per month, and temporary &#8220;B&#8221; permits are $15 per month.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none has-no-sidepadding\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-a7e1de50-031c-4d50-9ca1-5d94f4d14a35\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-a7e1de50-031c-4d50-9ca1-5d94f4d14a35\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Daily Parking<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-a7e1de50-031c-4d50-9ca1-5d94f4d14a35\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-aged-gold-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-07abc54995f2ebd86b398a9104df6b12\"><strong>Metered Parking<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pay-by-phone (&#8220;metered&#8221;) parking is available at various locations on campus. Payment options include using the QR code on the ticket to pay with a mobile device, pay-in-lane at the exit or using the pay station in the lobby prior to returning to your vehicle (not available at the Harrison Street Parking Garage). If the garage ticket is not available at the time of payment, a $50 lost ticket fee will be assessed. These costs are non-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-aged-gold-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-eaead59d051fe79fcf5f1bec90617d0b\"><strong>One-Day Permit<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the purchase of an $8 ($5, prior to July 1, 2026) daily permit, faculty and staff may park in any &#8220;A&#8221; space (unless restrictions are posted that indicate otherwise), excluding those in the Grant Street or Harrison Street parking garages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;A&#8221; parking may be restricted at any time and for any reason, including near athletic facilities for events, due to maintenance or construction, or others. Posted restrictions in parking garages or lots will be enforced.
