Citations may take up to 24 hours to appear in the parking portal after being issued. Citations may also be paid in person at the Parking Operations office or over the phone during business hours. Only the payment methods listed above will be accepted. After 60 days, unpaid citations will be sent to collections and incur an additional $12 fee. Three or more outstanding citations may lead to the vehicle being immobilized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No new parking permits may be purchased by the violator until all outstanding citations and late penalties are paid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, students with unpaid parking citations will have one or more holds placed on their academic record. then complete the on screen prompts, including the appeal type and violation type from the drop-down menus, then select &#8220;Submit&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"column is- is-12-desktop is-full-tablet\"><div class=\"purdue-home-cta-card purdue-home-cta-card--story\"><div class=\"flex-container flex-container--align-center has-white-background\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A submission receipt will be sent to the email address associated with your Purdue Parking Portal account, and you have the option to print it from the the displayed screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"column is- is-12-desktop is-full-tablet\"><div class=\"purdue-home-cta-card purdue-home-cta-card--story\"><div class=\"flex-container flex-container--align-center has-white-background\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An appeals officer will review your submitted appeal, and a decision will be sent to you via email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            \n                    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-none-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none\">\n        <div class=\"container\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-4bc6a037-cd34-4f18-ae86-7234d4f9b849\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-4bc6a037-cd34-4f18-ae86-7234d4f9b849\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Second Appeals<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-4bc6a037-cd34-4f18-ae86-7234d4f9b849\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If an initial appeal is denied, you may either pay the citation or submit a second appeal following the same timeline and steps listed above. Be sure to select the appropriate appeal type in Step 4. Your second appeal will automatically be routed for next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Failure to appear at your scheduled hearing will result in the parking citation being automatically upheld with no further appeal process available. If the citation is upheld for any reason, it must be paid within the established timeframe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Faculty\/Staff<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your second appeal will be forwarded to the Staff Appeal Board. The Staff Appeal Board will email you with their ruling, and you will either need to pay the citation or arrange for a personal appearance before the board within 10 business days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Students<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All second appeals are reviewed by Student Court, who will either make a decision on the appeal or determine  if should be reviewed by the full board. Students will be notified about either action.
