Mail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Outgoing campus mail that involves several pieces of mail addressed to the same building should be bundled by the building and secured with string or rubber band. As a general rule, mailings of five pieces or more per building fall under this process. The bundles will be delivered intact to the designated building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-accordion-wrap  purdue-accordion-wrap--small\">\n    <div class=\"section has-gray-background has-padding-top-none has-padding-bottom-none\">\n        <div class=\"container is-narrow\">\n            <div class=\"purdue-accordion has-no-topborder\">\n                <h3 class=\"accordion__heading purdue-accordion__title  purdue-accordion__title--small\" id=\"title-fb56da80-bf49-444e-860a-0477660e6165\">\n                    <button aria-controls=\"content-fb56da80-bf49-444e-860a-0477660e6165\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Campus Envelopes<\/button>\n                <\/h3>\n                <div class=\"accordion__content purdue-accordion__content\" id=\"content-fb56da80-bf49-444e-860a-0477660e6165\" hidden aria-hidden=\n                \"true\">\n                    \n\n<p>All blank spaces on campus envelopes should be properly filled out to assure prompt delivery. The space marked &#8220;From&#8221; should be completed so that the envelope can be returned to the sender if address is incorrect. Do not discard campus envelopes until all blank spaces have been used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Used campus envelopes can be requested using the <a href=\"https:\/\/purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_0dfNPCPPqTIO90y\">supply request form<\/a> and will be provided as availability allows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>**NOTE: Campus mail is not scanned or tracked. The Post Office does not provide acting directory service, and mail is frequently delayed because of incomplete addresses. This process is intended for internal, non-urgent and business communications and materials only. Each department shall designate one primary staff member and one backup staff member to have key access to the mailroom to retrieve, sort and further distribute daily mail for their department. Keys are limited to two per department, and each department needs to establish a process for handling and securing the mail and key(s). Individuals that have been approved by their department chair as needing access to mailrooms should send the approval documentation to Dave Schippnick at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:dschippn@purdue.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dschippn@purdue.edu<\/a>&nbsp;and make arrangements to pick up the keys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Small packages arriving via USPS will be left for pickup in the mailroom. Inbound packages delivered by certain couriers \u2014 including FedEx, UPS and Amazon, as well as large pallet deliveries \u2014 go directly to buildings. Large pallet items may need to be picked up at individual building loading docks and coordinated with individual carriers. The department should provide a full delivery address including room\/suite number and phone number with orders as well as any special delivery instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outbound mail and small USPS packages may be left in the ET mailroom for collection. All outbound mail and packages must have correct postage applied prior to dropping off.
