A new department is now part of the Administrative Operations organization; Facility Management is focused on supporting people across campus by providing safe, comfortable and efficient building environments. Facility managers coordinate physical buildings, equipment and daily operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Facility Management, within Facilities Operations and Environmental Health and Safey and led by Drew Furry, works closely with Building Services, Operations and Maintenance, public safety departments, building deputies and other organizations to enhance productivity, reduce risks, plan infrastructure needs and leverage technology within Purdue\u2019s facilities. These activities include opening work orders, coordinating space access and working with project managers on building logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Facility Management currently serves multiple buildings supporting the Office of Research and Administrative Operations’ Real Estate and Space Administration, including Drug Discovery, Wang Hall, Bindley Bioscience Center, Convergence and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Facility Management team consists of Michelle Moody, Steve Rudolph, Eric Ridgley, Keith Marron and Joe Morgan, the majority of whom have been certified by the International Facility Management Association, the world\u2019s largest association for facility management professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
