His responsibilities will include strategic oversight of facilities such as the Purdue Memorial Union, Stewart Center, Krach Leadership Center and the Union Club Hotel, as well as leadership of revenue-generating initiatives and management of third-party vendors. Bell will also provide guidance for contract performance and collaborate with key campus partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bell joins Purdue with nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as senior commercial director for White Lodging, where he led revenue strategy and customer experience initiatives for 16 hotel properties across Indianapolis, San Antonio, Denver and other markets. He also played a key role in the development and opening of the Boilerhouse Prime restaurant and the Clubhouse Bar &amp; Grill at Purdue\u2019s new Pete Dye Clubhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, Bell held leadership roles at Omni Hotels &amp; Resorts, JW Marriott and the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
