Purdue University\u2019s Office of Industry Partnerships is hosting a presentation and panel discussion on Tuesday (Feb. 24). The event \u2014 called Industry Partnerships from a Sponsored Program Services (SPS) perspective: proposal, contracting and post-award processes \u2014 will shed light on SPS and explain everything from pre-award proposals to post-award execution.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Purdue, SPS manages the life cycle of externally funded research, grants and contracts, assisting with proposals, contracts and post-award considerations. This panel will give faculty-principal investigators a comprehensive overview of the proposal process, the contracting process and the post-award process from start to finish. It will also cover considerations like budgeting and intellectual property.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel will be led by Purdue SPS experts Ken Sandel, associate vice president and senior intellectual property officer; Bryan Scott, senior pre-award manager; Jason Spall, post-award assistant director; and Kyle Wargo, director of contracting.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302. Lunch will be served to attendees. Registration is required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
