SERU - Student Experience in the Research University

Please read before viewing Tableau results:

There is the ability to use weighted or unweighted (raw) data. It is recommented that you use the weighted values. The weighted values compensate for over-and-under-representation of certain groups (gender, race/ethnicity, class, residency, and college).

There are many questions asked on a Likert-scale, and multiple scales may be displayed at a time. Make sure to select the type of Likert response you would like to see in order to see Likert style questions. Additionally, you may use the drop-down selections to choose various themes in the SERU data by question sub-groups. You can use the demographic and college filters on the left hand side to filter the survey results. Use the breakouts at the top of the dashboard to display results by select demographics. These filters and breakouts do not carry over from one tab to another. When evaluating majors students had the choice to evaluate a major other than their primary major. There is a filter for evaluated college and evaluated major that allow you to explore results based on students evaluated major. This applies to questions under "Major" question theme. Finally, if at any point a question has less than 5 responses then the question will be no longer be visible.

All of this information is included on the first tab of the dashboard.
