{"id":6439,"date":"2023-12-15T20:01:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-15T20:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/?p=6439"},"modified":"2024-08-05T12:57:28","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T16:57:28","slug":"fueling-advanced-manufacturing-growth-across-indianas-hard-tech-corridor-reimagine-in-mac-through-purdue-in-west-lafayette-and-indianapolis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2023\/Q4\/fueling-advanced-manufacturing-growth-across-indianas-hard-tech-corridor-reimagine-in-mac-through-purdue-in-west-lafayette-and-indianapolis","title":{"rendered":"Fueling advanced manufacturing growth across Indiana\u2019s Hard-Tech Corridor: Reimagine IN-MaC through Purdue in West Lafayette and Indianapolis"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"purdue-initial-words-wrap\"><p class=\"purdue-initial-words wp-block-paragraph\">WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. &mdash;<\/p> \n<p>To fuel and impact the ongoing manufacturing renaissance and expand its reach across Indiana, Purdue University is launching the Indiana Next-Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC) node at Purdue University in Indianapolis in a joint venture with Purdue\u2019s Manufacturing and Materials Research Laboratories.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since its inception, IN-MaC has been a partnership between the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and the College of Engineering and includes collaboration with Ivy Tech and Vincennes University to help solve manufacturing challenges for Indiana-based companies. Recently, Purdue leadership advocated for a Hard-Tech Corridor&nbsp;between West Lafayette and Indianapolis as a way to support Indiana manufacturing, entrepreneurship and economic development in critical technology areas.
