WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —<\/p> \n

There is always an opportunity to serve the greater good.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Tony Friesner of Raleigh, North Carolina, has helped others throughout his career. He believes an essential part of any endeavor is having firsthand knowledge \u2014 in his case, a thorough understanding of security and law enforcement. After years of immersing himself in leadership as a Marine and police officer, he\u2019s now ready to take on a new task: sharing his knowledge as a professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like to be of service to others,\u201d Friesner says. \u201cYou look at the jobs I\u2019ve had, whether it was with the military or with the police, and I continually strive to help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friesner graduated from Purdue Global<\/a> with his bachelor\u2019s degree in criminal justice<\/a> in October 2022 and is earning his master\u2019s degree from the same school. After this, he plans on immediately<\/a> getting his doctorate, qualifying him to teach at the collegiate level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
