She grew up watching her late father, Ronnie, share whatever he had with those in need, learning early on about the joy and fulfillment one can get from caring about others\u2019 well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether in her position as Huse Culinary\u2019s vice president of culture and learning or in her pursuit of online bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdueglobal.edu\/degree-programs\/psychology\/bachelor-industrial-organizational-psychology\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">industrial\/organizational psychology<\/a>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdueglobal.edu\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Purdue Global<\/a>, Chroman consistently lives out the values learned from her father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chroman saw a need at Huse Culinary to modernize how it trains, develops and supports the organization\u2019s talent, and she recognized that Purdue Global could prepare her to do this effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Huse Culinary is an Indianapolis-based restaurant and retail food group that features four restaurant brands:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.harryandizzys.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Harry &amp; Izzy\u2019s<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.atthehc.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HC Tavern + Kitchen<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.1933lounge.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">1933 Lounge<\/a>&nbsp;and the legendary&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stelmos.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">St. Elmo Steak House<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/commitment-to-service-prompts-restaurant-exec-to-choose-purdue-global\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chroman\u2019s full story can be read on The Persistent Pursuit website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Media are welcome to share, post and publish these stories, photos and videos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INDIANAPOLIS &mdash; When asked to describe Leanna Chroman, her&nbsp;Huse Culinary&nbsp;co-workers tend to use words like thoughtful, caring, passionate, servant, leader.
