The rankings track the annual visibility of each university through a variety of metrics to compile an overall score, providing a comprehensive measure of a university&#8217;s prominence within a 12-month period. Last week, Purdue earned a top-10 among U.S. public universities in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/releases\/2023\/Q2\/purdue-scores-top-10-among-u.s-public-universities-in-qs-world-rankings.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) world rankings<\/a>. Purdue also was ranked in the top 10 public institutions in the 2022&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/releases\/2021\/Q3\/purdue-again-among-nations-best-in-the-wall-street-journaltimes-higher-ed-ranking.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wall Street Journal\/Times Higher Education rankings<\/a>. As a&nbsp;top-10&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/releases\/2022\/Q3\/purdues-most-innovative-status-reaches-5-years-in-u.s.-news-38-world-report-rankings.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Most Innovative<\/a>&nbsp;school nationally for five years running (U.S. News &amp; World Report) and a top-four in patents received in the U.S., numerous Purdue academic programs \u2013 including two colleges \u2013 consistently rank among the nation\u2019s best.
