Students will gain skills so that they are well positioned to contribute to these advances.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An interdisciplinary engineering concentration developed with Purdue\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cla.purdue.edu\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">College of Liberal Arts<\/a>, strategy and defense engineering combines expertise in social, military and data sciences with expertise in engineering and technology, said Sorin Adam Matei, professor of communication and the college\u2019s associate dean of research and graduate education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe differentiator is that while the program examines and explores technologies and engineering solutions, it does it from a policy and social sciences perspective, both calibrated to support and expand practical work in national defense and strategic military planning,\u201d Matei said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.purdue.edu\/online\/programs\/masters-degrees\/interdisciplinary-engineering?utm_source=purdue_news&amp;utm_medium=pressrelease&amp;utm_campaign=icon\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Purdue\u2019s 100% online interdisciplinary engineering master\u2019s degree<\/a>&nbsp;is a flexible program designed to enable learners to customize their educational experience to their interests and needs by taking an interdisciplinary approach to the curriculum.
