Whether the story of an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/chance-encounter-reveals-purdue-engineers-remarkable-connection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emotional chance connection<\/a>&nbsp;or Purdue\u2019s history with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/purdues-mark-on-the-indianapolis-500\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Indianapolis 500<\/a>, The Persistent Pursuit beautifully stages storytelling in all its digital forms.<\/p>\n\n\n<div  class=\"purdue-home-buttons purdue-home-buttons--left \">\n    <div class=\"purdue-home-button-list\">\n                    <div class=\"\"><a class=\"purdue-home-button\" href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Learn More (Opens in a new tab)\">Learn More<\/a><\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Documenting Success:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Purdue Polytechnic High Schools<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Embracing the power of video and accessibility of YouTube, Purdue\u2019s team has produced a number of high-quality, evergreen documentaries about the Purdue Polytechnic High Schools. (Purdue University photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Amplifying Voices:&nbsp;This Is Purdue<\/strong>&nbsp;Podcast and&nbsp;<strong>YouTube Channel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With over 221,000 listens, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/podcast\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">This Is Purdue<\/a>&nbsp;podcast has become the unified voice of past and present Boilermakers. Hosted by Purdue alumna Kate Young, the show embraces the shared strengths that unify the Boilermaker community, earning a 367% increase in listenership since 2020 and over 10 million social media impressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2022, the year of YouTube, Purdue\u2019s team has kept ahead of the trends with collections that give a voice to students on campus. Two series,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/step-inside-paint-crew-the-student-section-of-purdue-mens-basketball\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Step Inside<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/new-yorker-meets-best-friend-finds-home-away-from-home-at-purdue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Finding Fit<\/a>, commit world-class content creation to student experiences and beloved traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n<div  class=\"purdue-home-buttons purdue-home-buttons--left \">\n    <ul class=\"purdue-home-button-list\">\n                    <li class=\"\"><a class=\"purdue-home-button\" href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Listen (Opens in a new tab)\">Listen<\/a><\/li>\n                    <li class=\"\"><a class=\"purdue-home-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/purdue\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Watch (Opens in a new tab)\">Watch<\/a><\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Building Community:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Boiler Brand Ambassadors<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2021 alone, a by-student\/for-students team of student&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/marcom.purdue.edu\/boiler-ambassadors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Boiler Brand Ambassadors<\/a>&nbsp;earned over 3,500 Instagram followers, committed over 5,000 hours of service and planned over 300 events to help fellow students feel engaged in the Purdue community. (Purdue University photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Honoring Tradition:&nbsp;A Boilermaker Carol<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking a cue from students, the Marketing and Communications team found inspiration for Purdue\u2019s 2021 holiday spot in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/anonymous-thank-you-leads-to-creation-of-a-boilermaker-carol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an anonymous Reddit post<\/a>. Production of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/a-boilermaker-carol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A Boilermaker Carol<\/a>\u201d united a team of more than 50 staff and students in a video featuring a seasonal version of the school fight song while touring iconic campus locations.
