McClelland will succeed Mike Bobinski, who previously announced his intent to step down at the end of the calendar year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McClelland will be formally introduced by the Purdue Board of Trustees and President Mitch Daniels during a press conference at 11 a.m. ET Thursday (Aug. 6).
