{"id":22343,"date":"2026-07-08T08:36:01","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T12:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/?p=22343"},"modified":"2026-07-08T08:36:02","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T12:36:02","slug":"purdue-brand-studio-named-team-of-the-year-at-ragans-pr-daily-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2026\/Q3\/purdue-brand-studio-named-team-of-the-year-at-ragans-pr-daily-awards","title":{"rendered":"Purdue Brand Studio named Team of the Year at Ragan\u2019s PR Daily Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/marcom.purdue.edu\/\">Purdue Brand Studio<\/a> \u2014 the university\u2019s full-service, in-house marketing agency \u2014 garnered top honors in three categories, including Team of the Year, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prdaily.com\/awards\/winners\/\">Ragan\u2019s PR Daily 2026 Marketing, Content Marketing and Social Media Awards Luncheon<\/a> held June 18 in New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The awards recognize the industry\u2019s most compelling, creative and strategic campaigns and projects that generate measurable impact, as well as the teams of professionals producing this remarkable work that pushes the bounds of marketing, social and digital communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Purdue Brand Studio team continues to take thoughtful, creative risks to move the work forward, and I\u2019m proud of the results we are delivering,\u201d said Kelly Hiller, Purdue\u2019s chief marketing officer. \u201cThese awards are a testament to the teamwork, storytelling and partnerships that are redefining what\u2019s possible in higher education marketing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Winning entries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Team of the Year<\/strong> \u2014 Purdue Brand Studio was named the Team of the Year for its impactful work that elevated the university\u2019s visibility across platforms while expanding industry and public engagement and strengthening Purdue\u2019s position next to national brands. Noteworthy achievements over the past year include an enterprise campaign featuring university partnerships with <a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/this-is-where-purdue-and-wabash-are-driving-the-future-of-clean-energy\/\">Wabash<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/this-is-where-purdue-and-rolls-royce-safeguard-our-future\/\">Rolls-Royce<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/this-is-where-purdue-and-lilly-are-partnering-on-a-shared-mission-to-improve-lives-worldwide\/\">Eli Lilly and Company<\/a>; a complete overhaul of the admissions web experience and corresponding print pieces; strategic collaborations with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2025\/Q2\/purdue-university-and-hello-sunshine-partner-on-new-platform-to-inspire-the-next-generation-of-bold-curious-young-women\/\">Sunnie<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/stories.purdue.edu\/activewear-for-every-body\/\">Vitality<\/a> and national media; and the team\u2019s innovative use of place-based branding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2024-25 Impact Report<\/strong> \u2014 Purdue Brand Studio took home the highest honor in the Annual Report category for its reimagined annual report that showcased how its creative work advances Purdue\u2019s brand, reputation and strategic priorities across campus, Purdue Global and beyond, grounded in its three pillars: giant leaps, strategic initiatives and storytelling. The team transformed its annual report from a static PDF into an interactive flipbook that featured its best ideas and boldest work, highlighting its measurable impact for the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cThis Is Purdue\u201d podcast<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cThis Is Purdue,\u201d the university\u2019s official podcast, shares stories of innovative Boilermakers with a global audience and links research and practice to real-world outcomes. Since its inception, the podcast has elevated Purdue\u2019s reputation while positioning the university as a global thought leader, earning it the top honor in the Podcasts and Blogs category. \u201cThis Is Purdue\u201d host Kate Young is currently nominated for Podcaster of the Year by HigherEd PodCon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These honors further expand Purdue Brand Studio\u2019s growing list of national and global recognitions, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2026\/Q2\/purdue-brand-studio-earns-global-honors-2\/\">being named the No. 2 top agency globally, and No. 1 in the United States<\/a>, in the April 2026 MUSE Creative Awards.
