WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. \u2014 This spring, Purdue University\u2019s Institute for Physical Artificial Intelligence (IPAI), in partnership with the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing, will bring together industry partners, researchers and students to highlight the university\u2019s groundbreaking AI research and explore opportunities for targeted collaboration to solve real-world challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The inaugural Purdue AI Research Showcase<\/a>, scheduled for April 14-15, will take place in Stewart Center\u2019s Fowler Hall at the West Lafayette location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The campuswide event is designed to strengthen connections across Purdue\u2019s research community, elevate awareness of institutional expertise and advance interdisciplinary synergies, with a particular emphasis on AI\u2011related scholarship taking place throughout the university. It provides a formal forum for researchers, students and industry partners to engage with one another, explore emerging partnerships and share ongoing work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The two-day showcase will offer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Demonstrating Purdue\u2019s national leadership in revolutionary technology, the university created IPAI<\/a>, the nation\u2019s first research institute dedicated to advancing AI in the physical world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Physical AI is a core component of Purdue Computes<\/a>, a comprehensive university initiative that emphasizes four key pillars of Purdue\u2019s extensive technological and computational environment \u2014 computing departments, physical AI, quantum science and semiconductor innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Rosen Center for Advanced Computing<\/a> partners with Purdue researchers to accelerate discovery, offering cutting\u2011edge computing systems, expert support and AI\u2011driven tools that expand what\u2019s possible in data\u2011intensive research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Purdue University is a public research university leading with excellence at scale.
