{"id":19654,"date":"2026-02-06T08:16:44","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T13:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/?p=19654"},"modified":"2026-02-06T10:01:33","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T15:01:33","slug":"nodine-appointed-purdue-global-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2026\/Q1\/nodine-appointed-purdue-global-ceo","title":{"rendered":"Nodine appointed Purdue Global CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. \u2014 Purdue Global\u2019s Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Eva Nodine as Purdue Global\u2019s CEO, effective Friday (Feb. 6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As CEO, Nodine will be responsible for leading the overall Purdue Global entity, with a focus on strategic direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nodine has served as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2025\/Q4\/engagement-collaboration-and-student-success-are-purdue-global-leaders-formula-for-success\/\">Purdue Global\u2019s chief financial officer and chief operating officer<\/a> since May 2024, overseeing all financial planning and accounting services, human resources, financial aid, marketing and communications, data, information technology, and legal and regulatory affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, Nodine served Purdue University since 2012 in numerous roles, including as vice president, deputy CFO and assistant treasurer, senior director of financial planning and analysis, director of general ledger transformation, and director of benefits, utilizing her financial expertise to help drive the university\u2019s successes. She also served as Purdue Global\u2019s treasurer from 2021-24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEva was part of the team that helped with the initial acquisition of Purdue Global,\u201d said Michael Berghoff, Purdue Global Board of Trustees chair. \u201cWorking with her on numerous university and board initiatives over the years, including most recently as chief financial and operations officer, her experience and knowledge of university operations have helped Purdue Global grow and benefit our students.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nodine is passionate about helping working adults earn their degree, credential or certification so they can get their dream job or pursue a new career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStudent success is a key cornerstone for Purdue Global, and I\u2019m looking forward to serving as Purdue Global\u2019s CEO and working with leadership and faculty as we provide opportunities for working adult learners,\u201d Nodine said. \u201cI am passionate about providing opportunities for others, especially since I earned my degrees while working \u2014 one of them online \u2014 while my boys and family encouraged me each step of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berghoff thanked Chris Ruhl for his work as interim CEO. Ruhl is Purdue University\u2019s chief financial officer and treasurer and will continue in that capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPurdue Global has a great leader in Eva. I\u2019ve worked closely with Eva since 2017, and her vision and commitment to Purdue Global\u2019s integral contribution to Purdue\u2019s land-grant mission is unwavering,\u201d Ruhl said. \u201cEva will bring boundless energy and passion to Purdue Global\u2019s most important mission, student success. Her extensive experience leading large projects, blending strategic planning with a keen eye for effective operations will ensure Purdue Global continues to grow and thrive, positively impacting the lives of countless students and families for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nodine will report to the Purdue Global Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Purdue Global is Purdue\u2019s online university for working adults, with more than 36,000 students enrolled and more than 13,400 degrees and certificates awarded in 2024-25.
