Students who have completed an MBA through Purdue Global can transfer up to 32 credit hours. The DBA can be specialized in areas such as accounting, finance, management, marketing and other business areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdueglobal.edu\/degree-programs\/business\/faculty-leadership\/#Jose-siqueira\">Jose Siqueira<\/a>, a faculty member in the School of Business and Information Technology, said faculty see the DBA program as a great opportunity to prepare students to tackle challenges scientifically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur DBA is designed for experienced professionals to use existing academic theories to solve complex, real-world organizational problems,\u201d Siqueira said. \u201cThe program bridges the gap between high-level scholarship and professional practice, turning a student into a \u2018scholar-practitioner.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siqueira said Purdue Global students are expected to learn \u201cthought leadership\u201d needed to influence their respective business sector, whether that means consulting for global firms, taking on executive roles or publishing their results in reputable practitioners\u2019 journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStudents graduate not only with a degree but also with specific knowledge that establishes them as the definitive authority in their chosen profession,\u201d Siqueira said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdueglobal.edu\/degree-programs\/business\/faculty-leadership\/#cathy-hochanadel\">Cathy Hochanadel<\/a>, academic department chair and faculty member in the School of Business and Information Technology, agrees that the new program will teach students how to solve various real-world business situations with disciplined inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe launch of our Doctor of Business Administration program reflects Purdue Global\u2019s commitment to providing advanced, career-relevant education for experienced business professionals,\u201d Hochanadel said. \u201cThis program is designed to bridge theory and practice, empowering leaders to apply rigorous research and strategic thinking to solve complex, real-world business challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2023\/Q4\/intentionality-strategy-drive-purdue-global-business-dean-for-student-growth\/\">Jeffrey Buck<\/a>, dean and vice president of Purdue Global\u2019s School of Business and Information Technology, said launching the new DBA is a milestone in the evolution of the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt signals our commitment to the entire life cycle of a business leader.
