{"id":14872,"date":"2025-04-30T09:57:03","date_gmt":"2025-04-30T13:57:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/?p=14872"},"modified":"2025-06-08T21:12:56","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T01:12:56","slug":"steering-committee-announced-for-purdues-victories-heroes-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/newsroom\/2025\/Q2\/steering-committee-announced-for-purdues-victories-heroes-campaign","title":{"rendered":"Steering committee announced for Purdue\u2019s \u2018Victories &amp; Heroes\u2019 campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. \u2014 On its 2025 Purdue Day of Giving, Purdue University announced the inaugural cohort of the Campaign Steering Committee (CSC), which will help guide the university\u2019s most ambitious fundraising effort to date, \u201cVictories &amp; Heroes: Your Campaign for Purdue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CSC members \u2014 dedicated alumni, parents and friends \u2014 will play a critical role in shaping and advancing the campaign\u2019s success and will work closely with the Campaign Planning Committee, consisting of staff at Purdue University and Purdue for Life Foundation. CSC will also likely grow to around 50 families by the end of the campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe heart and soul of Purdue has always been its people, and the new comprehensive campaign will be guided by the Campaign Steering Committee,\u201d said Purdue President Mung Chiang. \u201cThis incredible group of alumni and friends are champions of our mission and architects of our future. Their leadership, passion and commitment will help us reach new heights, connect with more Boilermakers across many areas, and ensure Purdue\u2019s impact continues to grow. The financial support will help further amplify successes across the university\u2019s land-grant mission: learning, discovery and engagement.
