INDIANAPOLIS \u2014 Recognizing a century of enchanting millions of patrons at the iconic venue, Purdue University has joined a milestone celebration for The Children\u2019s Museum of Indianapolis, serving as the official centennial sponsor for the museum\u2019s 100th<\/sup> birthday throughout 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor 100 years, The Children\u2019s Museum has sparked curiosity and ignited imagination in young minds through hands-on discovery \u2014 a mission perfectly aligned with Purdue\u2019s commitment to experiential learning,\u201d said Kelly Hiller, vice president of marketing for Purdue University. \u201cThrough our new expansion in Indianapolis and shared dedication to inspiring the next generation of innovators, this sponsorship celebrates our mutual goal of transforming young lives through education and exploration.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the sponsorship, Purdue is also presenting the \u201c<\/strong>Memories, Wonders, and Dreams: Stories from 100 Years\u201d exhibit, which highlights 100 objects from The Children\u2019s Museum of Indianapolis\u2019 vast collection. Besides the exhibit and presenting sponsorship, Purdue will create several engagements for museum attendees to enjoy throughout the yearlong celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Children\u2019s Museum provides young patrons a critical introduction to science, technology, engineering and math concepts \u2014 areas where Purdue is consistently recognized as one of the top universities in the country. As a leading institution in producing STEM graduates, Purdue is creating job-ready talent to meet rapidly growing workforce needs in the state of Indiana and nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sponsorship underscores Purdue\u2019s enhanced presence in the Circle City, which includes the launch of its first urban expansion in Indianapolis last July, and continues through collaborations with locally based entities, industry partners, and city and state leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
