Thumbs Up Submission<\/h1>\n

“Thumbs Up” gives faculty and staff the chance to recognize others on campus for a job well done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to hear about those people whose hard work and commitment contribute to the success of the University as well as make Purdue a wonderful environment within which to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submissions for “Thumbs Up” should include the names of the employee and the nominator, and describe why the person should receive a “Thumbs Up.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submissions should be 150 words or less. Purdue Today reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, length and clarity before publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A list of “Thumbs Up” recipients will be included each Monday in Purdue Today. Submissions will be spread throughout the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sample “Thumbs Up”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

* John Smith: Thanks to John Smith for helping out during our deadline crunch. We wouldn’t have made it without his hard work. — Susan Doe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Transportation Department: I’d like to thank the Transportation Department for their fantastic customer service. Our trip was a great success, and this group helped make it happen. — Sue Smith<\/p>\n\n\n\n
