What was your first impression about Purdue? Were you right?
I found that Purdue is a very quiet campus. It's a place where you can focus and improve yourself academically and personally. My first impression still stands correct.
What’s something you didn’t expect while at Purdue?
I didn't expect that it would get so cold in Indiana. I definitely underestimated the winters here. Since Purdue is quiet, it can get boring if you aren't involved in any hobbies or clubs. Purdue is also very academically rigorous, so you need to work hard to graduate.
Why should other students consider Purdue?
Purdue is a well established campus with great rankings and prestige. The academics here are worth it and I will say, we have a darn good gym.
What’s been your biggest challenge at college and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge was balancing my personal life and my academic life. It's hard to seperate the two when you are in college. Finding balance between life and school will help with stress and overall wellbeing.
How do your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as adventurous, smart, skillful and a martial arts nerd, with a little too much ego.
What’s a fun fact about you that not everyone may know?
I train in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu almost every day.
If you were an animal, what would you be? Why?
I would be a dolphin, becasue they are smart and weird, yet still very lovable...just like me.
Purdue Pete or Boilermaker Express? Why?
I would choose Pete. He can do backflips!
