WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Administrative Operations, the organization responsible for providing safe, reliable and transformative services for Purdue University, is hosting a job fair Sept. 14.
While the fair is targeted toward facilities operations, anyone interested in any open position within the organization is welcome to attend. Examples of open positions that attendees will be able to apply for at the job fair include the following:
Please note that different custodial positions offer a slight difference in pay depending on the shift.
The job fair will take place from 3-6 p.m. at the Physical Facilities Service Building, Room 1179, at 775 Ahlers Drive. Registration for the fair is optional. Attendees can park in the gravel lot located south of the facility.
Resumes are not required. Computers will be made available during the fair. On-the-spot interviews and job offers will be available. Brandi Jittjumnongk, talent development and acquisition manager for Administrative Operations, says the organization is working to fill a number of approved, open positions that are part of a hiring plan established for the current fiscal year.
“We are excited to host the job fair because it will serve as an opportunity to bring qualified, diverse candidates to Purdue and Administrative Operations,” said Jittjumnongk. “The fair will also allow our organization to showcase our workplace culture to interested employees.”
Some benefits of working for Administrative Operations include health insurance, generous time off, career progression and tuition discounts. More information is available on the Administrative Operations website. The option to apply on a mobile device is also available.
Filling critical positions that are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the university, including custodial, maintenance, public safety, energy and utilities, and grounds, with qualified candidates is just one of the ways Administrative Operations helps power Purdue.
