Purdue President Daniels: 'Biggest risk of all is that we stop taking risks at all'

At Purdue’s first in-person commencement since December 2019 due to the pandemic – held May 15 at Ross-Ade Stadium on the West Lafayette campus – Purdue President Mitch Daniels made these remarks to 4,679 undergraduate candidates, 213 professional candidates and 612 master’s candidates who can now call themselves Purdue alumni.

Purdue Engineering announces Project Bridge with $5 million gift for minority student scholarships

In support of one of Purdue’s Next Moves to increase the number of underrepresented Boilermakers on the West Lafayette campus and to support their success as students, faculty, staff and alumni, the College of Engineering announced a five-year program called Project Bridge, with a $5 million gift from benefactors Bill Uhrig (BSAAE ’82) and Anastasia Vournas.
